On September 10, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Babken Tunyan continued the work of the sitting interrupted on the previous day.

The package of the draft laws on Amending the RA Tax Code and on Amending the RA Law on the Notice of Activity Implementation authored by the Government was debated in the first reading. The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan presented the draft laws/

As a result of debate the package of the draft laws was endorsed.

The Committee members also continued the debate of the draft laws on Making Addenda to the Law on Establishing the Cadastre Assessment Order Approximated to the Real Estate Market Price for Taxation of the Real Estate Tax. The Deputy Head of the RA Cadastre Committee Arman Petrosyan presented details on the draft laws.

Babken Tunyan proposed to postpone the debate of the package of draft laws up to two months for specifying a number of problems.

The package of draft laws on Making Addenda to the Law on Licensing and on Making Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the NA deputies Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Narek Zeynalyan was debated in the second reading and endorsed.

The package of draft laws on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights and on Making Addenda and Amendment to the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the Government, presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan was debated in the first reading.

As a result of numerous questions raised by the MPs a number of problems have emerged, which require urgent solution.

By the Committee Chair’s proposal the debate of the package was postponed up to two months.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the Law on Joint Stock Companies authored by the NA deputies Varazdat Karapetyan, Babken Tunyan, Artak Manukyan was also postponed with the same term.
